And talking of product, There are now 2 albums worth of Hipster tunes for your ears `There Goes Concorde Again' - released in 2001. …and the brand new `SONGS TO PROTEST ABOUT' released at the start of 2006. Its entirely up to you… OK, now that everybody is comfortable, let's begin Cast your fate to the wind, then cast your minds back to 1980 ... '...and the Native Hipsters' released "There Goes Concorde Again" as a 7inch 33rpm EP. A real bedroom recording, - recorded in a living room. 500 copies were printed up, the labels rubber stamped by hand. The covers were unused billboard posters, cut to size by hand. Eventually we sold 5,000 copies and our rubber stamp lay exhausted in the corner... read the story in full here Years later, Rough Trade include the Concorde song on their '25 Years of Rough Trade' CD. We decide to release a retrospective hipster CD. Drawn from a large library of tapes, recorded over the last 20 years, and pieced together like a musical jigsaw. ...We love it, but then we would. Ok, thats the hype out of the way, now for the hard sell. Copies are available direct from our massive distribution warehouse (a box in my living room). For just £7.50 (including p+p in UK) you can own this wonderful item of musical nonsence.
